Dallas dermatologists said they have a new way to erase pock marks and acne scars.

Doctors call the new harmony pixel laser a major breakthrough. The laser stimulates collagen and the body’s repair system, they said."Until now there have not been great treatments, unfortunately for patients with acne scarring, except for sandblasting or blasting off the top two layers of your skin," dermatologist Mary Hurley said. "Very invasive treatment."

Patients using the treatment said they’re glad they found it.

"That's what I thought, you have to live with it the rest of your life," patient Christy Hagler said. "But this day and the age, with the technology that's out there, you don't have to anymore."Patients will need about five treatments to get the best results, doctors said."Every treatment I do see an improvement in the scarring and stuff, and just in the smoothness my skin is," Hagler said.Each visit costs about $800.
